I have a huge problem and can't figure out what to do,i hope somebody can help!?! I have a 1975 ford F100 4x4 with a 1978 bronco dana 44 front end,a dana 60 3/4 ton rear end.I have about 6-inches of lift.I had 36-inch tires on it,then put on 32-inch.I just replaced the hubs,wheel bearings,hub & rotor assemblies,u-joints,and all the drag links & tie rods.I did every thing how it should be done.Every thing on my truck is good,iv'e checked every thing!My problem is when i drive and hit a pot hole on the rear tire my whole front end starts to jump from side to side (left tire to right tire),and my whole truck vibrates real bad!I can't figure it out!?! It never did this before! Has anyone ever heard of someone having this kind of problem?I can't keep driving it and testing it because somthing worse is going to happen,plus i"m wearing ball joints out! Thanks for any HELP!

It's the well known death wobble. 90% of the time it's caused by a bent rim or out of balance tires. if it didn't do it with the 36's try swapping a diffirent set of wheels and tires on thed front to see if it stops. It usually happens more when larger tires added.
my 79 bronco doesn't do this with my 33's but when I swap my 35" boggers on it starts. usually nailing the throttle will power out of the shake.

I had this problem once on my 75 f100,the stearing gear box was loose. Try checking the torque on the bolts holding it to the frame.

had a set of bias ply 33's did it all the time,had another do it cause of ball joints and fubar tires.
it's not safe so don't drive it that's for sure.do you have any play in the front tire with it jacked up off the ground and the tire still mounted?are your wheel bearings tight?do you have directional tires?is it a chevy?no just kidding just thought that would be funny.

you are not for real are you?6 inches of lift with 32's,on half of a half ton truck?
is you front 5 lug and rear 8?the front will swap out ball joints out with a 8 lugger
oh yeah are your radius arm bushings good?

I'v seen this before, tires smokin shakin so bad. I had a look at it for the guy thinkin something loose, turned out that the front axles stabilizer bar bracket at the frame was loose. Tightened it up and everything was Hunkee Dooree! If it's not that it's most likely somethin els loose.

Tires toss weights all the time but I bet its the trac bar bushings or the frame mount for the trac bar. I have to replace mine every 6 months but thats due to extreme flex causing wear. Get a heim joint trac bar and it will be fixed forever...
