I was just wondering if anyone knew if the body mounts on a '66 F250 are the same as a '76 F250. I want to put the '76 4x4 frame under my '66 4x2 body. Minor frame adjustments are no problem.

- Interests:Anything that is older than me. Especially old trucks and old Harley's. Right now I am in the process of redoing my '76 F-250 Highboy 4x4. My dad bought it brand new and gave it to me when I was 16. It was the first vehicle I ever drove. I am trying to make it an all around better off-roader, which is very hard considering that it is the best truck I've ever driven, or ridden in.

yes the cab will fit but the bed wont without a modification to the 76 frame the 66 frame is narrower than the 76 frame.I was just wondering if anyone knew if the body mounts on a '66 F250 are the same as a '76 F250.
