i know it doesnt sound right but the way the story goes i am a ex drag racer with a brand new 74 302 that survived being put in a 73 maverick drag car back in my day 400 hp on nitrious tubbed caged was my baby till a pinion locked up put it into a guard rail around 120 mph felt like 300 mph at the time any way no problem rebuilding the 90 but i was just wondering is every thing the same bought the truck new in 1990 never had to do any thing major to it but with 300. 000 miles she is getting a little tired but i think i have gotten my moneys worth.

My concern, then, is how well the built 302 shortblock would react with the EFI heads and intake. Seems to me like it'd be a step backwards. Personally, I can't really answer that, I've never owned an EFI, so I have limited experience with them
