Ok I have a 73 ford f100 4x4 with a 390 and a c6 auto trans. I noticed that I had a leak that looked to be coming off of the kick down lever that mounts into the drivers side of the trans case. While working on it I gave it a little tug and the whole kick down rod came out of the trans. Can someone tell me what I just screwed up and what it will take to fix it? Any advice would be great.
