Did some more painting and cleaning today. just got a lil more scrubbing to do on the front below the oil fill. theres like a pound of burn access oil under there lol.
painted my turbo, intake manifold, and polished my alternator and a/c pump and tension pulley. umm cant seem to get my clutch fan off. have to find someone who has a tool for it :/
ohh well. oh and if anyone has a 4x4 trans that will work with my 96 motor that would be sweet to buy. Id prefer a manual but ill take an auto if its a good deal.

Got up eairly this morning and finished the intake and tappet covers on top.
pry got about another hour left of work and the motor will be set.

im gunna try and get a few people over today so i can get the cab off of my truck.

then i can start taking out the motor.

Did a quick job on the bottom of the bed.
took a wire wheel and did a quick undercoat.
its kinda a crappy job but it will do for a bit till i can fix up some rust sports and can save up some extra money for more por 15

Wooo, and wow was it a damn nightmare.
it took 6 of us and it was still fricken heavy.

im trying to speed this up as fast as I can. skippin college classes to get work done on my truck haha
plus i wanna get this truck done before december. i have someone from detroit who wants me to do a swap into his 94 ford.

hopefully if money flow is good enough this year from snow plowing it will go even faster.

Got my hood all high temp painted today.

Ohh yah and got the motor, trans, t-case, and driveshafts off :party018::party018:

my tear down is offically complete besides some interior peices and my brake system.:headbang:

the motor came out pretty easy. the tractor didnt like lifting summin that heavy tho. but other than that its all good.

I have thursday off work and class so ill pry spend it cleaning up the motor and trans to get ready to sell. hopefully my por-15 will be here by then so i can sand blast the frame and get it all coated.

Looking to sell it, but if i cant pry gunna rebuild it and put it in a notchback mustang.
looks tiny next to the cummins.

when i first joined this forum your thread was one of the first i took a look at and i really like what your doin to your truck. i got a 76'/78' hybrid that i would like to do similar work to but keeping the gas engine instead and possibly switching over to propane. keep up the good work can't wait to see the finished product.

Yah im gunna love this truck. havent decided if im gunna keep it or sell it.
thinking about finding a roller 92 gt mustang and droppin in the 460 if i dont sell the motor.

but the extra cash would be sweet.

And you should go diesel its cooler lol

WoW i can not believe how much bigger the diesel is compared to the 460. amazing.
i see you are on ford-trucks now. nice to see you over there. there is a guy named numberdummy.
he can tell you any and every part number for a ford you can think of then some. guy is amazing.

done cleaning and painting up the 460.
shes ready to be sold.

now im just waiting on some motor mounts. gotta get a nv4500 trans and a ford 203 transfer case. then buy the adapters and mount it in the frame.
Im still waiting for my por 15. there being retarded. ive waited like 2 weeks for it. ughhh.

if anyones looking for a 460 or trans or transfer case let me know. I wanna get this bad boy sold. ill seperate them if i have to.

Got the frame all cleaned and painted.

i think im gunna wait till I do my leaf spring swap and axle swap to coat whats left. plus i have to still redo my trans crossmember and shock set up.

just waiting on parts. my calipers and hub studs. i think my hubs and rotors are saveable. my calipers are def. fried tho. might pick up the disk converson too on my next paycheck.

Just did a lil touch up and painting on the frame and did the axles. im just gunna run the axles and leafs for a while and see how they hold up. going to replace them later on but alot of ppl have kept the stock ones so it should be fine.





ill try and post more stuff up as soon as I can guys. its been a busy past few weeks.
